We are looking for an Associate Health and Safety Specialist to join our team in the Philadelphia, PA area, Newark, DE area, or Central/Northern New Jersey area. If the description below sounds like you, Apply Now!

Responsibilities:

  • Work independently to manage OSHA compliance programs in various industries
  • Conduct assessments and audits to improve health and safety programs and culture
  • Provide employee and supervisory training and coaching
  • Build client relationships through effective communication and responsiveness
  • Work with our team of CIHs to implement industrial hygiene sampling programs Assist with contractor safety program management and audits
  • Analyze claims and deliver services that reduce losses and insurance costs

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 2-7 years of experience in general industry
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Safety Science or a related field
  • Flexibility to travel 30%-40% of the time, including overnight travel
  • Ability to develop and deliver effective training programs
  • Policy writing and auditing skills
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with writing clear and concise reports
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Word and Power Point

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification in a related area (ASP, GSP, OHST, CSP)
  • Experience as a consultant supporting various clients
  • OSHA Authorized General Industry Trainer
  • Completion of 511 course
